so ahem...for those that dont know me...imma learn ya a lil bit about me. besides the fact that I like to drink...i have found a new appreciation for house/techno/trance...whatever its called lol. first and foremost, we MUST thank Jersey Shore for bringing back house music...making it more mainstream...had it not been for them...i doubt we would know who Davis Guetta, Tiesto, SHM, or all these other ppl are. and im not being sarcastic...if u listen to the radio...all songs now have house music out...one or two tracks but theyre out there for ppl like us to fist pump our asses off at lounges, bars, clubs, car, train, walking, gym, etc...lol well back to my point if i can remember what i was gonna say...but cheeeeea...HOUSE MUSIC. Had it not been for a trip to Miami, 4 hrs at WMC/UltraFest...i dont think i'd like house music so much...no it wouldnt like it at all..plus i was under certain influences hahaha so i was rocking my ass off! lmao! im not gonna lie and sit here and be like yea i looooove house...naw...i like it...i'll dance to it, fist pump to it and of course beat that beat...but i wouldnt say im a house head..i like that popular crap they play out on the radio....with that said...the cream o da crop!
so...last saturday...was my 2nd house even that i've attended and must say...honestly...waste of money lol the music was great, company of course fab...i can never or hardly ever go wrong with chillin with my chicas. but i dont think i wana pay like 50 bucks to hear house music and feel like I was in J.Lo's waiting for tonite video. but off no bull...it was fun for that one-two hrs lol...i think it's prolly cuz i wasnt drunk enuff is the only reason y i didnt have a good time. all the DJ's played pretty good sets, ppls outfits were awesome! (i found a new appreciation for neon...so dont be surprised if u see me and im rockin bright freakn clothes to match my bright shoes lol)...what else can i say...well i guess actions speak more than words...and ya kno im like the DC version of blast in a glass...and i be jersey turnpikin it DC style aka (my version) rock creek pwyin' it lol...my girls and i was killin the dancefloor! what made it better...we was mad comfy! i wish i blended in more...not enuff bright colors!
well there are more pictures of a somewhat joyous saturday...i kno a few folks that had a blast! lol me not so much lol...but i try to make the best of everything even if i end up regretting it :) hahaha but off not bull...i need neon in my life! i kno i said that i wasnt gonna waste my money on crap like this and i prolly wont but i think if i get into the spirit...my inner house head will be break dancing, raving like this asian kat was doing...his boy was prolly on E cuz youngin aint blink for a second! lol...i think that was like my fave part...except i couldnt keep staring cuz my contacts were drying up lol i wish i wouldve taken pictures of ppl's outfits! aaaah! this one broad had on lady gaga's outfit from her first video...she rocked it out and of course ppl had to have their damn pacifiers lol...wonder y...hmmmm...lol
this is all i can really remember...i know it wasnt as exciting as my other blogs have been but let me post some music to entertain ur ears! enjoy the pics, video, read,...remember to pass me on...i promise i'll go out more often and have more fun! its only spring...the weather is indecisive and summer time brings out the party animal in me! plus i'll have days off to request! haha!
