Karaoking the night awaaaay...

Hello there party animals! Yes...it's super early but I was a little iffy as to "write" about my Saturday night, but i figured i had a hell of a time so y not...funny part is...i had a good time not drinking hahaha (there is a first time for everything right?!? well in this case second time singing, first time singing sober in front of ppl lol)

Well this Saturday was a friends bday party celebration. My friends and I, met her up at a karaoke place in Adams Morgan called Muzette...idk if its new but it looked new to me...so it was new..whatever. It was a Korean restaurant/bar/karaoke (go figure...I'm stereotyping so what...if the shoe fits...pontelo! aka wear it!). It was a nice little spot, in the cut. But anywho, I didn't really wana sing but hey it was the bday girls day and she wanted everyone to sing...some of us..ok all of us...made huge asses of ourselves but it was a good time laughing at each other. We had mad random songs we sang from old school spanish music like Pimpinela (who this broad is..idk but i heard the song before lol), Mana (oye mi amor! no me digas que no!), Radiohead, The Beatles, Hector Lavoe, Marc Anthony & La India, much much more...it was fun for really reals. The funniest songs had to be the dudes tryna rap...it wasnt really working for them lol...they jacked up cypress hill's "insane in the membrane", jay-z's "girls, girl, girls" oh and tupac "california love. " it was hilarious! it really is much easier singing along to the song then reading the lyrics and tryna go with the beat...thats y we need to stick to our 9-5's lmao. dude! i sang "La Cura" by frankie ruiz and "periodico de ayer" by hector lavoe, lets just say...i prefer singing in my shower! lmao How could I forget...my girls and I sang a spice girls song hahaha...of course we all know what song that is..."so tell me what you want what you really really want..." oh we are such lames but it was so much fun haha

but i must say, (i dont care what anyone says...) the song that brought the "house" down...was of course, my friend Kay and I singing Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen...you could NEVER EVER EVER go wrong with that song! you can hear this song at any bar, in the house, in the car, on your way to work, at work, and all you wana do is sing along and rock the fudge out! it also brings back memories (well for me that is) of watching waynes world and wayne, garth, and the other dudes being in the wayne mobile, popped in a cassette and what do you hear..."is this the real life..is this just fantasy..caught in a landslide..no escape from reality...open your eyes and look up to the sky and see...im just a poor boy , i need no sympathy because i'm easy come..easy go...little high..little low..any way the wind blows..doesnt really matter to me...toooooo meeeeee!" or i just think of my nephew being over my house and i'm cleaning my room and i hear his footsteps and he come to my room and says, "hey! i have that song on guitar hero!" and just breaks out into song...so adorable!

everyone was drinking (minus me..yaaay! lol) i have pictures that i keep forgetting to update on fb but i shall do eventually lol If you or your friends wana plan an outing and karaoke is one of the things you wana do, then go to muzette. they have private rooms (which is a plus cuz then you wont have to wait to sing your song), The drinks (from what my friends were telling me) were cheap too (now u know for us avid drinkers...that a plus! lol) what else can i say...oh yea...they charge per hr so depending on how many ppl go then that'll be the price. try it out you might like it. if not go buy urself a karaoke system like my dad did (lord how i wish it would just stop working! lol)..for more info..please check out http://www.muzette.com/. it's located in the "heart" of 18th st! (i should get paid for advertising the spots i go too lol)

Until later my dudes...i gotta get back to work..or i have to actually do work today! can't wait for my nxt adventure or misadventure lol

PARTY HARD BETCHES!
